Introduction Session

At Balanced Paws we believe all dogs should be set up for success and a great experience. If your dog is new to Balanced Paws or doggy daycare in general this is a great was to reassure you the owner as well as your dog that Balanced Paws is the right fit for you. 

What does our intro session involve?
For the first part of the intro, your dog will come into our empty lobby with dogs in viewing distance but not physically in their space. The first part of the intro is ensuring your dog is comfortable with the staff and their surroundings. From there, once your dog is settled and we start to get to know your dog's personality, we slowly allow them to meet dogs with the same characteristics and play style one at a time. Once your dog is comfortable, we'll slowly increase to a group for them to play in with us guiding them every step of the way!

How will I know how my dog's going?
We reassure our clients that we will only do what's in the best interest of your dog, some may need multiple shorter visits before being ready for a longer period of time, and other dogs will be ready to do a full day of care. We will never push your dog into something they're not ready for. Our aim is to provide you with regular updates as well as positive and constructive feedback if needed to ensure your dog is getting the most out of their visit with us!

What facilities do you have?
In our care your dog will always have access to fresh water, play water, indoor and outdoor access, cooling and heating, mental and physical stimulation, staff support, as well as plenty of rest, crates, beds, relaxing spaces and toys galore! We also offer grooming and bathing services.
